I'm Irene and I am the Owner of Irene’s Braids. I have been a professional braider for over 10 years. I am extremely adamant about staying up to date on the newest styles and trends to make sure your hair looks perfect. I specialize in Box Braids, Crochet Braids & Scalp Braids better known as "Cornrows.”
One of my favorite things about the hair industry is that it's constantly changing. I'm always staying up to date with the latest techniques to ensure I’m constantly becoming a better braider. Please note, that I love to ensure my clients have the best experience by me, & remain able to maintain their hairstyles. So, I educate all of my clients about new products to help with their style for a longer period of time, and show them how to style their hair at home. My goal is to make sure every client looks good after each appointment and in between visits.
To book an appointment with me a $50 (Non-refundable) deposit is required to confirm your appointment. All deposits will count towards your service. However, if you cancel there will be no refund of your your deposit.
If you miss your appointment or cancel at any time, your deposit with not be applied to any future appointments outside of the month you've booked for.
My suite is located in Duluth, GA . Once you choose a service and pay your deposit the address to my suite will be displayed with your secured appointment confirmation.
Please make sure that you’re on time for all appointments. If you arrive 15 minutes late, there will be a late charge of $20 added to your service. If you arrive 25 minutes late after your original appointment time, your appointment will be cancelled immediately. I do not offer same day service, you must book by appointment only.

Please make sure you have access to an active email account to secure your appointment. Once your deposit has been submitted please check your email account for the confirmation email showing that you've booked your appointment. In that same email you will receive all important information about your appointment, such as how to prep your hair, my suite address, payments etc. To all iPhone users please click attachment located at the bottom left corner of your screen "show more" to view. If you still aren't able to view it, please use your Google calender to see this attachment. Please click and view all important information regarding your appointment.
INFORMATION ON HOW SCHEDULING / CALENDAR WORKS
Calendars are available on a month to month basis. On the 15th of each month a new calendar will be available. Appointments spots will go very fast. I only offer two appointments per day, 8:00a.m & 2:30 p.m Mon-Fri Sat-8:30 & 2:30pm & Sunday-closed. If you do NOT see the time you want for the service you need, it means that time is no longer available. If you see a blank calendar with a notice that says ( NO AVAILABILITY FOR THIS MONTH ) means that that current month your trying to book for is completely booked up. It does not mean the year is completely booked. Those months are intentionally blocked off. A new calendar will be available on the 15th of each month by 9:00 P.M
Certain braided styles can only be booked for a 8:00 a.m appointment time frame.
If you don't see the date you originally wanted please check back on a later date to see if that date has become available due to a cancellation. Cancellations are updated and will appear automatically for another potential client to book. Last, I do not hold spots, your deposit confirms your appointment.
HOW TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT ?
To cancel your appointment, it must be done within a 48 hr time frame of your original appointment date ( NO EXCEPTIONS). Please log into your email account that was used and search for your confirmation email that was sent confirming your
appointment. Once you find that confirmation email you will then select Cancel or Reschedule.
When rescheduling you can NOT reschedule into a new month! You are only permitted to reschedule within the same month that your original appointment was booked for. Please refrain from rescheduling more than 1 time so that it allows others to see potential dates to book their appointments.
Your card used is subject to be charged in full if you do NOT cancel within 72 hrs. Deposits are (NON-REFUNDABLE).

⚠️Please DO NOT SKIP OUT on selecting your braiding hair color, Desired Length choice etc. Those options help me prepare your hair in advance.

If you are a client who "Works From Home" please note that my salon suite is a quiet environment to complete work assignments while being serviced by me. Wifi is provided during your service. You MUST have head phones should you need to listen in on a conference call, music, video chat etc.
Hair accessories and string are complimentary, if stock is available.

CDC COVID-19 EXPECTATIONS⬇️
Due to COVID-19 All tempatures will be checked before entering into the building to be sure of no fever. If your temp reads 100 or higher I will have to turn you away. Please make sure you have on a face mask before entering the salon. Your mask must stay on for the entire time that we are in contact with one another. Please note no extra guests are allowed. I ask before we start service that every client washes their hands before being serviced. I will also have on my face mask while servicing every client and my hands will be washed and sanitized. Here at Irene's Braids I've been taking the time to sanitize and wipe down my entire salon suite. I will continue to sanitize between every client within my day and provide clean salon capes to each client daily. There will be no sitting/ waiting areas open in the salon due to COVID-19. Please wait In your car until your appointment time. I will walk up to the front door let you into the salon exactly at your appointment time please do not arrive earlier as I am sanitizing and preparing for your arrival and will need to finish before starting your service. Please note that Irene's Braids will NOT be liable for anyone coming in contact with COVID-19. I respectfully ask that you follow these new salon expectations as I will NOT service you, if you don't follow instructions asked above.
